But here’s the real concern: Gookin, as a Coeur d'alene councilman, oversees the CDA Police—including Chief Lee White, caught on video contradicting himself about disruptions and misrepresenting what happened at our Feb 22 townhall to the media. Dan Gookin claims to be a “North Idaho Republican,” but that label often hides a group that loves to target the KCRCC and other MAGA conservatives.

Even more concerning, he’s linked to Christa Hazel and “Save NIC,” who some suspect may have rallied activists like Teresa Borrenpohl to disrupt that recent townhall. Borrenpohl didn’t just “disrupt”—she interrupted seven times, assaulted security, tried to drown out free speech, and suppress citizens' ability to peacefully assemble with her antics. Coincidence? Or is this their game plan to silence us?"
