There are sexually-explicit books in our local public high school libraries. Triangles by Ellen Hopkins is one example that is available at Post Falls High School.
This book glorifies alcohol and drug abuse, sadomasochism, adultery, and more. There is no justification for a taxpayer-funded book like this be the Post Falls High School Library.
Quote from page 34 - "Unless you want to consider underage drinking, plus marijuana, and ketamine....A little weed, Mom. I don't indulge in the hard stuff."
Quote from page 120 - "No sex, not even amazing sex (and it was that), is worth the kind of verbal abuse that man threw at me. To top it all off, I found out he's married but he excepted me to stay with him."
Quote from page 215 - "You know. Sex, with another couple. Or maybe a three-way? Another woman, another man, whatever."
Quote from page 32 -"Four mojitos. Approximately one per hour. I actually feel okay driving though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to get pulled over right now."

Consider joining me in emailing the Post Falls High School Principal, the Board of Trustees, and the Superintendent for the Post Falls School District. Politely ask them if this book meets the definition of obscene materials for minors mentioned in Idaho code 18-1514, and then ask that they protect minor children by removing it.
