The Community Library Network Board of Trustees along with library staff have hired a new library director who starts June 1st. Her name is Alexa Eccles.
One thing that popped up when I was researching her, was that she sued the City of Lewiston Board of Trustees when she was their library director.
Why are the incumbent CLN trustees up for re-election ok with this hire? I get that it would be hard to hire a library director that fits our area, but this hire seems like a bad idea.
